Kids Filling Up on Veggies

My mother always said that veggies taste better when you’re hungry. So, at mealtime, I serve my children their veggies first and wait as long as possible to serve the main course. For some reason, the veggies are usually gone before the main course. Go figure! Diane

Kids’ Pictorial Keepsakes

From a baby’s birth, begin creating a secret pictorial keepsake for the future.

Create an email account that is  password-protected, where you can document stages of the child’s life. Simply email photos to that email address to document the occasions.

On his or her 16th birthday, give that young person the email address and password that will show them all the photos you’ve taken, each one documented with the date and time. Quite a keepsake.

Wet Wash Cloth Saves the Day

When going on an outing with small children we often find ourselves with a dirty face or dirty hands and nothing to wipe them with. I always put a wet washcloth in a sandwich bag to pack in the cooler. This works so well on a hot day. Just pull out that cloth from the cooler for an instant clean up or cool down.
