Ever feel like a chicken running around with its head cut off? Yeah, me too!! Some days it feels like I’m running 90 to nothing and trying to remember everything I need to do. Here’s what works for me:
BRAIN DUMP:
- I write down all of the things that I need to do.
- I get it all out of my head and down on paper or an electronic planner.
- Every little last thing gets recorded.
- By getting the stuff out of my head and on a list, I’m freeing my mind to focus on other things.
It gives me permission not to stress about trying to remember everything. Try a “Brain Dump” next time you’re feeling overloaded.
Whatever method works for you, just get it out of your head!
Good tip! (My pastor has suggested this before we have our devotional time so that we won’t be distracted by the million-and-one things we need to do.) Thanks for sharing!
