To clean the lint from your dryer trap quickly and easily, swipe it with a used dryer sheet.
Like magic, the lint comes off cleanly in one swipe and non of it sticks to the screen!
If you take Mary’s advice and do not use dryer sheets (old habits are hard to break), you can use a bit of the lint itself with the same results.
Please vote for my tip. I had to do 6 loads of laundry to demonstrate it. Thanks.
Although I do this already, I’d like to thank you for the time it took to research and write this tip!
Beth, thank you for your appreciation. Have a great day!
Hi Picture Lady! Will this work just as well with a new dryer sheet, or maybe 1/2 new sheet? I’ll bet that lots of readers have a box somewhere they can’t bear to throw out, but have stopped using them in the dryer. The effort you took to photograph this tip is not lost on me! In fact, you made me smile.
Hi Mary. That’s a good idea. I have never tried it with a new dryer sheet. Oh, no !!! Now I’ll have to do six more loads of laundry to find out…LOL. I’ll let you know. Thank you for you kind words.
